About
The Soft-Landing Provence Africa Connect program is an initiative led by the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis and a consortium of innovation stakeholders, including ANIMA Investment Network, Accélérateur M, Marseille Innovation, Eurobiomed, and KEDGE Entrepreneurship. It supports innovative African startups in their development in Europe by offering an establishment and acceleration pathway within the Aix-Marseille-Provence area. Designed as an economic and entrepreneurial bridge between Africa and Europe, the program fosters Euro-African synergies, access to the European market, and integration into a dynamic innovation ecosystem.

The Soft-Landing Provence Africa Connect program is led by the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis and implemented by a consortium of key players in innovation, entrepreneurship, and Euro-African economic development. The program’s main operational partners are ANIMA Investment Network, Accélérateur M, and Marseille Innovation.
The program also relies on several regional partners and support networks, including One Provence Promotion, EMERGING Valley, Africalink, CISAM, Eurobiomed, KEDGE Entrepreneurship, and Euroméditerranée, as well as other stakeholders committed to strengthening economic cooperation between Africa and Europe.
Project Objectives
Soft-Landing Provence Africa Connect aims to facilitate the establishment and growth of innovative African startups in Europe by leveraging the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Aix-Marseille-Provence. The program seeks to strengthen economic, technological, and human cooperation between Africa and Europe while fostering the development of long-term partnerships between entrepreneurs, investors, institutions, and innovation stakeholders.
Through strategic support, privileged access to local networks, and immersion within the metropolitan ecosystem, the program enables selected startups to accelerate their growth, access the European market, and strengthen their internationalization strategy. Soft-Landing Provence Africa Connect also contributes to promoting Aix-Marseille-Provence as a Euro-African hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
