In the framework of EBSOMED, ANIMA Investment Network, in collaboration with Business France, is organizing a Master class composed of 4 modules dedicated to the digitalization of tools and services.

A series of training sessions designed to help professionals in these organizations better understand the opportunities offered by digital technologies.

The first module, “Intelligence Strategy, Customer Relations and Communication” was held in Paris, France, from March 8 to 10, 2023. This first part on economic intelligence is part of this cycle and focuses specifically on the promotion of foreign investments. The training was led by Amine CHAEHOI, Head of the Financial Investments Department at Business France; Sébastien Martinet, Business Intelligence Officer at Business France; Lydie Cornand, Information System Director and Educational Coordinator at ANIMA.

A delegation from seven countries (Algeria, Egypt, Greece, Morocco, Palestine, Poland and Tunisia) participated in this event to understand how digital technologies can improve economic attractiveness of their countries and strengthen Euro-Mediterranean cooperation.

Participants gained valuable knowledge during the three days on how to design a foreign investment promotion strategy and how to work with national economic actors to improve the economic potential of their country.

The last day was an opportunity for participants to exchange with Jean-Christophe de Tauzia, General Manager of Descartes Development and Innovation, an information, promotion and networking structure of Sustainable City Excellence Cluster in the heart of the Cité Descartes, a fast-developing innovation territory, which inspired creative ideas for participants’ projects.

This seminar is implemented by ANIMA Investment Network in the framework of the EBSOMED project, an EU co-funded project that aims at strengthening business support organizations and business networks in the Southern Neighborhood.
