MEET Africa 2 

MEET Africa 2 is a program supporting the creation of economic activities and jobs in Africa by accompanying and supporting the entrepreneurial aspirations of the African diaspora, both graduates and non-graduates (so as not to exclude any viable project with impact) living in Europe and/or newly resettled in Africa. The project has provided additional support to entrepreneurs already targeted by MEET Africa 1. MEET Africa 2 has helped to strengthen the ecosystem of support for diaspora entrepreneurship, a new feature of phase 2. It has also contributed to strengthening the mobilisation of the diaspora and the financial resources of diaspora networks.  

ANIMA’s intervention focused on developing the visibility and legibility of the services available to diasporas living in Europe through the Hub and wishing to develop a business project in the target countries (Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Cameroon and Côte d’Ivoire), and networking diaspora ecosystem organizations in the Euro-African zone. ANIMA has also created and organized a trade fair dedicated to Euro-African entrepreneurship in Africa. 

MEET Africa 2 has supported 140 diaspora entrepreneurs,financed 170 businesses and facilitated the organization of numerous workshops and webinars in Europe and Africa.
