  • Tunisia

The LECAP project aimed at mobilizing the talents of the Tunisian diaspora to strengthen their support to young local entrepreneurs and their reconnection to the national market. More specifically, the objective of the project was to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacities of young Tunisians through the transfer of skills from the talents of their diaspora and to promote Tunisia among the diaspora and business communities in order to boost entrepreneurship and investment.
For 9 months, a mentoring program allowed high talents to bring their experience to local entrepreneurs in terms of entrepreneurial development, allowing them to benefit from their business networks and their expertise on a range of specific themes.
In order to make these entrepreneurs aware of the business environment and opportunities on the Tunisian market, business and networking meetings were organized to exchange with representatives of the private sector and public authorities responsible for investment and business services (Investment Promotion Agency – FIPA, Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation – APII, Tunisian Investment Authority – TIA, etc.).
