NETWORK – Berytech and Marseille Innovation partner to bring French and Lebanese innovators closer

A partnership convention between Berytech and Marseille Innovation, under the patronage of Renaud Muselier, President of the South Region (France), has been signed in Beyrouth, Lebanon. 

On the occasion of the official visit of the President of the South Region – Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur, Renaud Muselier, in Lebanon, a partnership convention has been signed between the four organizations represented by Abdelkader Betari, President of ANIMA Investment Network, Maroun Chamas, President of Berytech, Déborah Alliez, Coordinator of Marseille Innovation Accompanying Programs, and the President of the South Region of France. 

“The president of the South Region has been the catalyst of the partnership by programing a visit in Lebanon. After lunching the “Zero plastic waste in the Mediterranean by 2030”, last November, which has largely mobilized Lebanon entrepreneurs through THE NEXT SOCIETY network, the South Region fully plays its role as a partner by boosting this movement of Mediterranean innovators at the service of a sustainable and inclusive development, that we pilot with the support of the European Union”, states Emmanuel Noutary, General Delegate of ANIMA network. 

“We are truly pleased to have been able to facilitate this strengthening of the collaboration between two historical members of our network”, testifies from his side Abdelkader Betari, President of the ANIMA Network.

The agreement, which brings together three members of the ANIMA Network (Berytech, Marseille Innovation and the South Region) covers the three following points:  

• Marseille Innovation integration in THE NEXT SOCIETY initiative piloted by ANIMA, as a partner of the ecosystem. THE NEXT SOCIETY already associates Bertytech as a focus point in Lebanon and the South Region, as a member of THE NEXT SOCIETY club, which associates public and private organizations wishing to contribute to the European, Mediterranean and African innovative dynamics.  
• The start-up mobility between the different incubation and accompanying programs proposed by Berytech, Marseille Innovation and THE NEXT SOCIETY.
• The crossing-training between Berytech and Marseille Innovation on the methods of support of companies which will be facilitated by the twinning instruments developed by ANIMA Investment Network.
