Medibtikar
Euromed Innovation & Technology Programme
The name Medibtikar is derived from MEDiterranean and Ibtikar (Arabic for Innovation). The Programme’s budget was7.3 M EURO, and run till 31st December 2009.
The beneficiary countries were: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, the Palestinian Authority, Tunisia, and Turkey.
The beneficiary organizations were public and private enterprises concerned with increasing the competitiveness of SMEs. Medibtikar’s operational was based is Cairo, Egypt.
The Programme is funded by the European Commission and supervised by European Commission Delegation in Cairo..
