About

Call Me Blue project aims to strengthen existing cluster alliances in the Mediterranean region in order to foster the emergence of strategic maritime clusters in North Africa. As part of this, Call Me Blue sets out to create a strategic vision of interregional cooperation models. The project implements concrete actions at local and regional levels to raise awareness of the relevance of maritime clusters and encourage their creation as key players for a sustainable blue economy. 

Call Me Blue encourages the exchange of good practice and knowledge transfer between North and South, including piloting learning activities to provide transferable training tools for future maritime clusters in the South zone to build their capacity on legal, structural, administrative and management aspects for the concrete creation of future maritime clusters. 

Project objectives

• Strengthening the capacity of clusters through a series of training courses tailored to the specific needs of maritime clusters 
• Organising a business forum in Malta in 2025 bringing together players in the blue economy. The forum will organise a series of conferences on topics related to the blue economy sectors, with activities to promote companies and business connections
