ACCELMED

The ACCELMED project capitalised on the results of previous MED-funded projects such as MED-KED, MACC-BAM and 2lnS, by aiming to promote business development from a generalist perspective, or by addressing a specific angle (access to finance, international markets, innovation), or a defined target (knowledge-based businesses or business development through clusters).

3 main areas of activity have been set up to offer tools and services to Med SMEs in order to :

• Facilitate SMEs’ access to private investment through transnational investment forums
• Develop an ecosystem favourable to the internationalisation of SMEs, thanks to SoftLanding agreements
• Define and deliver acceleration activities for high-growth companies

ACCELMED was coordinated by Barcelona Activa, in partnership with ANIMA Investment Network, Promos (Italy), Aster (Italy), BIC Attika (Greece) and the Technology Park of Ljubljana (Slovenia) from September 2013.
