OPPORTUNITY – ANIMA is looking for experts in the field of Blue Economy

ANIMA is increasingly involved on initiatives linked to the development of the blue economy, either to produce knowledge or to implement projects on a Mediterranean scale.
ANIMA is looking for people with experience in the field of blue economy both to provide expertise and to contribute to the development of new initiatives. The objective is to strengthen ANIMA activities in this field.

Experts Profile

Qualification and Skills:

• Postgraduate University degree (Master or equivalent) in marine and maritime affairs, management, sciences, economics, and other relevant fields, or equivalent relevant experience and/or degree related to the current assignment.
• Effective operational proficiency in English (C1) and French (C1). Knowledge of Arabic is considered an asset.

General Work Experience:

• 10 years of professional experience as a Team Leader and/or Coordinator/Manager in a field related to the blue economy.
• Solid knowledge of blue economy/marine/maritime issues.

Specific Work Experience:

• 2 previous experiences managing a team of experts to develop policy documents, analysis, studies, and/or activities related to private sector development in the field of the blue economy.
• Experience in developing technical proposals and working with international donors.
• 5 years of work experience in the Mediterranean region.
• Other skills: Team skills, Communication skills, Social and intercultural skills, Efficient partner- and client-focused working methods, Interdisciplinary thinking.

Status:

Type of contract service: provider. Experts as subcontractors must be able to contract and invoice as a legally registered entity with the competent authorities in their country.
