ANIMA has just concluded a new partnership with the German technical cooperation (GIZ) for the implementation of a programme to mobilise investments from the Tunisian diaspora.

The programme which will last until 15th May 2021 comprises three dimensions:

  • The establishment of a marketing component: targeting and study of the levers of commitment of the Tunisian diaspora based in Europe, and analysis of the Tunisian offer with a view to proposing adaptations which are in line with the expectations of the diasporas;
  • A benchmark of the financial tools likely to welcome investments from the diaspora and the production of recommendations for innovative and reassuring financing instruments;
  • The setting up of a pilot programme of mentoring of entrepreneurs by high potential Tunisian diaspora.

The ANIMA network capitalises for this programme on several of its past actions, and in particular the Diafrik Invest project which has just come to an end.

For its part, GIZ is developing with this programme a range of actions complementary to those developed in this domain in Tunisia, for the promotion of entrepreneurship thanks to the diaspora and for the mobilisation of high talents at the service of productive investment.
