CONFERENCE & B2B – Gitex Challenge Final

The final of the GITEX Challenge initiated by North Star Africa, GITEX AFRICA Morocco and International Boost in partnership with ANIMA, was held on March 21, 2023 at Village by CA Paris. A privileged moment to network with the French Tech ecosystem, explore business opportunities and participate in the influence of France in the world.
The event was an opportunity to discover innovative start-ups and SMEs in the Tech sector based in France who wish to develop on the African continent. They all presented their project in front of a jury in order to win the North Star Africa Challenge.
An international pitch competition organized by North Star Africa
A total of ten finalists were selected to participate in the GITEX Challenge final, each having the opportunity to pitch their project in front of the jury and the audience present. The finalists included innovative projects in a variety of fields. The presentations were of high quality, demonstrating the creativity, innovation and determination of African entrepreneurs.
The jury chaired by Ilan Benhaim, co-founder of Veepee and composed of Emmanuel Noutary, Managing Director of ANIMA Investment Network, Mehdi El Alj, Founder and Organizer of African Unicorns and Ghita Zniber, VC Investor of Kalys Ventures had the difficult task of selecting the winner.
After deliberation, AlloReview, an SAas solution for collecting feedback, was selected based on the technology used and its relevance to the African market, including its cutting-edge conversational AI technology capable of understanding 92 languages, including local African dialects.
The winner won an all-inclusive stand to participate in the GITEX AFRICA trade show which will take place from May 31 to June 2 in Marrakech – Morocco.

Event launched under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, under the authority of the Moroccan Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, hosted by ADD, Digital Development Agency, organized by KAOUN International, the foreign events company of Dubai World Trade Centre.
In the framework of the Euromed Clusters Forward project, the ANIMA team will be present alongside 30 MENA and EU clusters and their companies during the first EU-MENA Cluster Matchmaking.
