CONFERENCE & B2B – Closing ceremony of the Startup Expert Program

The closing ceremony of the Startup Expert Program organized by the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Finance will be held on November 10, 2023 in Casablanca.

This program, a component of the “Promoting Entrepreneurship” (PROMET) project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), is being implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in cooperation with the Moroccan Start-up Ecosystem Catalysts (MSEC) with the aim of strengthening the start-up ecosystem in Morocco. Led by a team of experts, ANIMA’s mission is to support Moroccan start-ups in their rapid evolution and development into successful businesses, both nationally and internationally.

On the program

Five Moroccan gas pedals – CE3M, HSEVEN, LaStartupStation, StartUp Maroc and Tamkeen Center – have been selected to take part in this intensive program, offering personalized support to 50 startups in the acceleration phase.

The results of the program will be revealed at the closing ceremony and pitch of promising startups. This morning will offer an insight into future opportunities for the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Morocco.

Innovation ecosystem players and investors are invited to attend this closing ceremony, and will have the opportunity to meet and exchange views with all the startups present. Finally, a cocktail lunch will be served to participants.
