Cluster4Green – 8th Conference on corporate social responsibility in Tunisia

26 October 2022

Tunis

The Confederation of Citizen Enterprises of Tunisia (CONECT) is organising the 8th Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on 26 October in Tunis in the framework of the Cluster4Green project.

The ambition of Cluster4Green is to create economic opportunities by supporting the development of the circular economy and sustainable investment in the Mediterranean.

The CSR department of CONECT is piloting within the framework of the Cluster4Green project a sustainable investment program focusing on two axes:

  1. support to responsible investment projects ;
  2. the implementation of partnerships between institutions, civil society and the private sector to create an alliance of Tunisian and international organisations mobilised to support and promote sustainable investments.

The 8th CSR Conference by CONECT will bring together senior officials of organisations committed to more positive impacts in the Mediterranean. The day will include round tables and workshops that will highlight:

  • the Tunisia CSR label created in 2012 by CONECT,
  • other national and international initiatives such as the AFNOR‘s Engagé RSE label and the Responsibility Europe initiative,
  • the launch of the IMPACT RATING x CSR Tunisia partnership. IMPACT RATING is a new rating tool launched by the ANIMA network, allowing the performance and impact of a company or an investment project to be assessed in their economic, social, environmental and territorial dimensions. It targets all organisations that support companies and wish to help them develop their social responsibility and their contribution to sustainable development.

The day will end with the award ceremony of the Hannon Awards for the Promotion of Co-Development through Responsible Investment, an initiative of CONECT and Med21 in partnership with Bpifrance, APII, Caisse des Dépôts et des Consignations, FIPA Tunisia and ANIMA Investment Network, and the support of Cluster4Green.
