Delphine Gény-Stephann, Secretary of State to the Minister of the Economy and Finance, has announced the publication of the the fourth phase of the call for applications addressed to French clusters.

The competitiveness clusters have been, for almost 14 years, one of the pillars of the French innovation policy, in particular for the benefit of SMEs.

While phase III (2013-2018) of the cluster policy expires at the end of December 2018, the government wishes to reinforce the relevance of the cluster model within the innovation landscape, and to give a new impetus to this policy.

The call for applications aims at labelling clusters for a new 4-year phase (2019-2022), which will aim at capitalizing on their proven ability to mobilize their innovation ecosystems, and giving them the objective of bringing out more European collaborative projects, mainly in Horizon 2020 (then Horizon Europe) calls for projects.
