B2B – Regional meeting #1 Euromed Clusters Forward | Developing technology and innovation within clusters

Leveraging benchmarking and mapping studies conducted by ECF, the regional meetings will focus on discussing the adoption and development of technology and innovation within member companies of the clusters. Additionally, they aim to foster exchanges among clusters by bringing together those identified, drawing on the expertise of non-business members such as universities, research centers, and associations.

In these sessions, we will explore the dynamic of technology and innovation adoption within cluster firms. Our carefully curated sessions are designed to uncover seamless pathways for the integration of technology and innovation roles. We will apply the collective expertise of esteemed firm and non-firm members, including universities, research centres, and associations.

Countries participating: Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine.

Objectives

The objective is to to enhance cluster’s development through innovation and adoption of technology by gathering insights and feedback to formulate recommendations for technology, innovation, and economic development requirements. This initiative will lay the groundwork for instigating country-specific public-private policy dialogues.

Specifically, the project targets improving cluster regulatory frameworks and incentives for collaboration among the quintuple helix components (university – industry – government – public – environment) to support the development of cluster member companies and enhance their competitiveness.
