ANIMA participated in the Europe-Africa Forum organized by the Metropole Aix-Marseille-Provence, La Tribune and La Tribune Afrique

The Europe-Africa Forum, held on May 15 and 16, 2023 at the MUCEM and the Palais du Pharo in Marseille, brought together important public and private sector actors, as well as investors, entrepreneurs and experts from both continents. The active participation of ANIMA Investment Network, in this event, as a partner,  demonstrates its commitment to strengthening economic ties between Europe and Africa. Special attention was also given to ANIMA Investment Network’s cooperation on several initiatives related to diaspora talent, such as the MEET Africa and REA BRIDGE Africa projects. 

This event, co-organized by the Metropole of Aix-Marseille-Provence, La Tribune and La Tribune Afrique, within the framework of the French presidency of the Council of the European Union, aims to provide answers, new initiatives and concrete solutions to deepen political and economic commitments and to build a common future for both continents. The objective is to strengthen the Euro-African partnership. The exchanges that took place during this first edition were marked by a determination and a high level of discussion, illustrating the will to move to action after the European Union-African Union Summit that was held earlier;

For its second edition, the Europe-Africa Forum was held in two stages: 

The evening of May 15 at the Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean was distinguished by the presence of the media and cultural industries, a sector that generates employment and income, which occupy a central place in the European and African identities. On May 16, at the Palais du Pharo in Marseilles, a series of roundtables marked by the participation of prominent speakers. 

The Europe-Africa Forum in Marseille was an opportunity for participants to network, establish partnerships and strengthen their understanding of economic opportunities between Europe and Africa. This major event highlighted the importance of economic cooperation and mutually beneficial investment to foster the development of both continents.
