Support for the Souss-Massa Regional Investment Centre in creating a network of economic ambassadors 

The mission to support the Regional Investment Centre (CRI) of the Souss-Massa region has contributed to the promotion and attractiveness of the region in Morocco. ANIMA supported the CRI in creating a network of economic ambassadors resident in the region and among expatriates around the world. 

In concrete terms, the strategic support consisted of the organisation of face-to-face and distance workshops with the diaspora from three European countries relevant to the Souss-Massa region, the drafting of a methodological guide on the commitment of ambassadors, the drafting of a proposal for the legal and functional framework of the network, as well as a roadmap and a charter for the ambassador network. Support for the creation of the network of economic ambassadors and the implementation of promotional content has enabled the development of tools and media, the production of promotional and communication resources and tools, and a mapping of distribution channels and the mobilisation of key partners. 

Support for the CRI has resulted in an active network of over 100 profiles of talent from the Moroccan diaspora around the world involved in promoting the Souss Massa on an international scale, spread over four continents and representing a variety of fields: diplomacy, politics or senior civil service, science, business, culture and the arts, sport, tourism, associations, etc.
