DiafrikInvest – Mobilization of investors and entrepreneurs from the Moroccan, the Tunisian and the Senegalese diasporas for the benefit of the economic development of the countries of origin

DiafrikInvest’s ambition is to accelerate and support the mobilization of high talents, entrepreneurs and investors from the diaspora to boost business relations between Europe, Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal and thus contribute to economic development. The activities of the project, which is entering its fourth year of implementation in 2020, are grouped around three axes.
DiafrikInvest has supported institutions in Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal in developing new strategies for their diasporas. This advocacy aimed at promoting economic attractiveness policies, entrepreneurship support mechanisms and the identification and mobilization of high talents and entrepreneurs of the diaspora.
At the micro-economic level, local and diaspora entrepreneurs have benefited from a mentoring program by high talents from the diaspora, combined with an acceleration program: personalized coaching, individual accompaniment, business trips, etc.
DiafrikInvest has thus enabled several startups to raise funds by connecting entrepreneurs and investors through innovative instruments, and to network Diaspora Business Angels with investors from home countries.
