ACCELMED – Support and development of startups and SMEs

The ACCELMED project aimed to promote the development of enterprises and more particularly young innovative entrepreneurs, in terms of access to financing, international markets and innovation. Three main lines of activity were set up to offer tools and services to French, Spanish, Greek, Italian and Slovenian startups and SMEs in order to:

• Facilitate access to private investment for young innovative companies through transnational investment forums including technical exchange sessions;
• Develop an ecosystem favourable to the internationalisation of SMEs, thanks to the implementation of agreements aimed at the promotion and the soft landing of companies between territories;
• Define and provide acceleration services for companies with high growth potential.
  ACCELMED has produced guides on the state of innovation, entrepreneurship and investment in the project territories. This economic intelligence work has been complemented by the organisation of workshops for meetings between investors and entrepreneurs. Finally, a network to support SMEs internationally was created via soft-landing services.
