Investment and access to financing

Enterprises & Investors Start-Ups

ANIMA is committed to support the development of entrepreneurs and SMEs which contribute to create value and positive impacts in Middle East and Africa. A key challenge for them is often to access to finances in order to support their growth.

To this end, we prepare small companies to meet, negotiate and contract with investors or financers, and introduce them to selected partners of the network during “Power Meetings”.

Power Meetings are usually half-day events that connect investors to innovative entrepreneurs who are selected from the ANIMA acceleration programmes. The events take place in different countries from Europe, Middle East or Africa.

If you are an entrepreneur and you want to secure funds, apply for the next power meeting or join our acceleration programmes to get ready for financing.

If you are an investor or financer, we can connect you with MENA and West African entrepreneurs whose strong growth is based on social impact and performance.

Testimonials

“Access to finance for startups in Africa is limited both by the lack of equity financing and by the inability of many entrepreneurs to understand the expectations of investors and thus to convince them. Faced with these challenges, ANIMA has launched initiatives to stimulate access to Business Angels and crowdfunding and we are proud to collaborate with them in the design and facilitation of an innovative “Investment Readiness” accelerator for entrepreneurs in Africa and the Diaspora with collective coaching through the “Investment Academy” and individual coaching “tailor-made” for each entrepreneur.”

“The way you guys have organized the matchmaking between entrepreneurs and investors was awesome.

It was altogether an enriching experience, efficient and made immense impact on the start-up’s journey.

Working together with Mediterranean investors, I will definitely continue to recommend your future events. Keep up the great work!”
