Our commitments

Aware of the necessity and urgency to act in the face of climate change, the ANIMA network is committed to the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat, a French association recognised as being of general interest, whose vocation is to organise awareness and transformation courses for economic decision-makers. ANIMA is participating in the Provence-Corsica session alongside sixty companies and organisations of all sizes.

This demanding journey, which took place throughout 2023, led us to formalise a roadmap for transformation into a regenerative organisation for the planet. The network is well aware that change must be systemic and will engage network members and project partners with us.

The ANIMA network is committed, at its level, to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals established by the Member States of the United Nations, which are brought together in the Agenda 2030 and aim to eradicate poverty in all its forms and in all countries, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all.

In the context of this commitment, ANIMA has been a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact since 2012, which is the largest international initiative of commitment to sustainable development.

The Global Compact proposes a simple, universal and voluntary framework of commitment based on ten principles relating to the respect of Human Rights, international labour standards, the environment and the fight against corruption.

As such, the association strives to align its internal practices with these principles, and to develop initiatives that contribute to inclusive and sustainable development and respect the environment.
