OPPORTUNITY – Call For Experts Trainers Clusters Value Chain & Innovation Development

As part of the Euromed Clusters Forward project, funded by the European Union and coordinated by the Anima Investment Network, Berytech, operational partner is looking for an expert trainer for its activities.

Euromed Clusters Forward is co-funded by the European Union up to 90% for a global amount of EUR 7.8 million budget, and led by ANIMA until 2026 with the aim of strengthening clusters and their members in 7 Southern Mediterranean countries, promoting inclusive innovation and competitiveness in the Euromed region in order to improve growth, economic diversification, sustainable development and employment.

About the activity

The In-Person Academy is a rigorous 3-day training program designed for over 15 Cluster Managers and Board Members. This program includes skill enhancement and benchmarking excursions. The academy’s primary emphasis is on comprehending the ICT value chain, identifying potential prospects, and incorporating research and innovation into the ICT and Creative industries. These efforts aim to bolster cluster development within the South-Med region. The training sessions will take place in Lebanon.

The physical academy will take place on October 16, 17 and 18, 2023.

Expert profile

Qualifications

• Expertise and training relevant to the required mission.
• Full command of English. Arabic a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in training and capacity building.
• Previous training experience with organizations in the value chain and innovation sectors.
• Previous experience in training or cluster development support is a plus.
• Proven experience in the field.

Specific experience and qualifications 

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including experience in leading training/workshops and presentations.
• Proven in-depth knowledge and ability to integrate innovation and research into training to optimize the cluster value chain.
• Candidates can be either organizations (companies, foundations, etc.) or independent experts.
• Applications must be completed in all sections (administrative, technical and financial proposals, CV, portfolio and letter of interest) and must be written in English.
