Demo Day CoworkUp 4.0
1 July 2024
Tunis
GIZ Tunisia’s Digital Transformation Center is organising a networking session as part of Demo Day CoworkUp 4.0, which will take place on 1 July 2024 at The Dot, Tunis. The event will start with an SSO pitch session at 3pm, followed by a networking time from 5pm.
The CoworkUp project – Capacity Building and Empowerment Programme for Startup Support Organisations (SSOs) aims to support SSOs in order to contribute to the growth of the startup ecosystem in Tunisia. It is supported by the special initiative “Decent Work for a Just Transition” Invest for Jobs of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented by the Digital Transformation Center of GIZ Tunisia with the support of ANIMA Investment Network.
The Demo Day brings to a close the first phase of CoworkUp 4.0, during which 30 SSOs have benefited from group training sessions on targeted themes. The list of SSOs can be downloaded here. The networking session will take place after a pitch session to select 10 innovative start-up support programmes. The winning SSOs will receive personalised (one-to-one) support and coaching sessions from regional and international experts to help them design their innovative entrepreneurial programmes, as well as financial support for the implementation of the programmes they pitch (a total of 320,000 DT will be allocated to the winning programmes).
This networking session will be an opportunity to discuss with the 30 SSOs supported by CoworkUp 4.0, with the experts involved in the programme: Lama Makarem, Virginie Ruyer, Carlos Azevedo, David Brun, Naoufal Chama, Emmanuel Noutary and Constantin Salameh, and with other organisations in the ecosystem, to continue to strengthen the links and collaborations between those involved in supporting startups in Tunisia.
