ANIMA Investment Network participate in the upcoming session on “Partnerships and collaboration: Working together for more and better investments” as part of the Executive IPA College for IPAs from LDCs. This conference organised in partnership with WAIPA, UNCTAD, UNIDO, ILO, UNOHRLLS, and European Investment Fund, aims to provide tailored training to IPA officials from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in attracting and facilitating foreign direct investment (FDI) while addressing sustainability challenges.
As an organisation with a diverse membership and an extensive network of partners across continents, ANIMA understands the importance of collaboration in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 17. ANIMA has been working closely with governments, the private sector, local authorities, and academic networks to foster regional cooperation and relevant investor networks to drive sustainable development.
During the session, Mathias Fillon, COO of ANIMA will share its valuable insights and experiences in building a network and regional business hub, which can provide valuable lessons for the participating LDCs. Mathias Fillon will engage in a panel discussion with experts, including representatives from our Vice Presidency General Authority for Investment and Free Zones – GAFI and others, to explore the potential benefits and challenges of partnerships in achieving the SDGs.
