ANIMA recruits a Project manager Web & Digital Communication (M/F)

ANIMA is an association dedicated to promoting economic development in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, aligned with the challenges of social and environmental responsibility. Established in 2006 as part of the Barcelona Process / Euromed Partnership, the ANIMA network brings together 70 member organisations in 20 countries and over 400 experts and partners who can be mobilised.
The network collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders in these countries, including business networks, public agencies responsible for economic issues and international cooperation, companies, entrepreneurs, diaspora talents, international and bilateral cooperation organizations, and relevant country ministries. Through cooperation and technical assistance projects, ANIMA’s missions aim to :
- Engage countries in cooperation aimed at transforming their economies, while respecting the needs, interests and challenges of each.
- Improve the performance of business support policies and institutions to contribute to the well-being of populations and sustainable development.

Job description
Your main tasks, under the direct responsibility of the Head of Communications, will be :
Managing the association’s digital communications strategy
- Based on the association’s strategy and action plan, develop a digital communications strategy in conjunction with the Head of Communications and the association’s marketing committee, integrating the various digital channels: websites, social networks, web marketing, emailing, ANIMApp, influence.
- Draw up communication plans and campaigns for the various digital channels and oversee their implementation.
- Contribute to the development of messages, content and media to be used. Manage the production of video content.
- Prepare regular reports on digital activities, performance, and insights for the Head of Communications and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate the performance of digital campaigns: engagement, web traffic generated, conversion rates on websites (subscribers to platforms, calls to action), etc.
Running and managing the association’s websites
- Manage ANIMA’s websites and projects with the various service providers and internal stakeholders;

- Ensure the smooth running of the sites:
- Manage any changes and developments
- Liaise with service providers to resolve any malfunctions
- Improve display or ergonomics where necessary
- Monitor hosting and domain names in conjunction with the IT Department.
- Manage the websites:
- Participate in the writing and inputting of content on the various sites (news, events) in conjunction with the ANIMA team;
- Produce content (computer graphics, images, videos) in conjunction with the communications team for inclusion on the websites.
- Ensure statistical monitoring of the various sites according to indicators defined by the team;
- Develop or optimise statistical monitoring tools
- Conduct regular monitoring of each site
- Analyse results and proposing solutions for improvement.
- Work with the project coordinators, define and draw up the specifications for the websites managed by the association, where necessary; oversee the creation of new project sites where appropriate.
Profile
Skills required
- Higher education in digital/web communication/ journalism.
- Technical web skills (HTML, mastery of other web languages would be an asset), knowledge of web marketing;
- Excellent command of CMS (WordPress, Drupal);
- Proficiency in the use of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Medium, Youtube) and programming tools (Buffer);
- Ability to manage service providers (web agencies and developers, graphic designers, integrators, etc.).
- Essential mastery of writing techniques (spelling and typographical rules, etc.) and Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point). Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro) is a plus;
- Journalistic skills, excellent writing skills, ability to summarise and explain in French and English, video production and editing;
- Bilingual written and spoken French/English required; knowledge of Arabic would be a plus.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and tools in digital communication.
- Desired personal characteristics: great adaptability and availability, organisational and coordination skills; rigour and high standards; ability to take the initiative and make proposals; ability to work in a team, independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously ; good interpersonal skills, creativity;
This is a plus:
- Good command of CRM tools
- Mastery of mass mailing tools;
- Knowledge of European projects appreciated; knowledge of project-related issues (diaspora, innovation) and/or development issues would be a plus.
Expérience
- 3 to 10 years’ experience in digital communication, webmastering and community management.
- International experience is a plus.
Languages
- Bilingual or fluent in French and English
- 3rd Mediterranean language welcome (Arabic, Spanish, Italian, etc.)
Statut et rémunération
- Permanent contract
- Growth salary: 2 400€ – 3 200€ per month + bonus depending on experience
- Benefits: luncheon vouchers, holiday vouchers, health insurance
- Full time: 217 days per year
- Position based in Marseille. Possible par time remote work after 3 months.
