The start-ups will first participate in Lyon’s digital Booster Camp: 4 intensive days of exchanges, workshops, coaching, speed-meetings with experts and mentors to sharpen their value proposition, pitch, and international strategy.

After Lyon’s Booster Camp, the winning start-ups will continue the adventure until May 2021. Personalised support will bring them to Boston (United States) or Lyon, Manchester, Turin, Lodz, Frankfurt, Barcelona (Europe) by giving them the keys to understanding these markets thanks to their mentors and by connecting them to local decision-makers and partners.

The ANIMA – BigBooster partnership

In 2017, ANIMA Investment Network, leader of THE NEXT SOCIETY initiative, joined forces with BigBooster intending to expand the opportunities offered to Mediterranean entrepreneurs within the framework of the project co-financed by the European Union. Although the project did not foresee any collaboration on the 2020 edition, the BigBooster team wished to welcome new projects from the MENA region as the level of maturity of the start-ups and their innovative aspect fit perfectly with the objectives of the booster camp.

In 2019, 7 of the 20 start-up finalists selected to go to Boston (final phase of the acceleration programme) were part of THE NEXT SOCIETY community.

On 16 and 17 November 2020, a two-day Booster Camp was also organised in Lebanon by BigBooster and Berytech as part of THE NEXT SOCIETY: BigBooster Lebanon.
